Over the weekend the SCUBAnauts were honored to be able to visit U.S. Coast Guard Air Station in Clearwater. While there they were able to meet members of the Coast Guard and learn more about the important work that they do for our country. Shannon S. was among the group visiting and credits the tour to further helping her choose her career path.
As a Junior in high school, I’m asked more and more each day about my plans for the future. I can say with great thought behind it, that I intend on applying to the US Coast Guard Academy. This weekend’s tour gave me confirmation that the Coast Guard is the right fit for me. I was able to make great contacts to help me in the academy’s application process and I appreciate SNI for opening up these doors for me. The day at Air Station Clearwater was informative and an overall blast!
