Mote Marine Hurricane Irma Fund Event
On Saturday November 11th, 2017 at 1915 Main St, Dunedin, FL 34698 (the Advanced Auto Parts store) the SCUBAnauts will be hosting a car wash to raise funds for the Mote Employee Disaster Relief Fund and the IC2R3 Hurricane Irma Fund. Hurricane Irma moved directly over Mote Marine Laboratory’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration (IC2R3) on Summerland Key on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.
This is a facility that the SCUBAnauts have used on their many trips to the Florida Keys and the Mote employees who experienced significant hardships and losses due to the storm are well known to the SCUBAnauts.
Be there early. The car wash is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tell your friends and families to bring their cars!!
100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Mote Marine Hurricane Funds.
